pdfresurrect software package provides tool for extracting/scrubbing versioning data from PDF documents, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pdfresurrect
pdfresurrect is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pdfresurrect package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pdfresurrect *
You will get with pdfresurrect package name, version, architecture and description in a table
